At PressPage, we’re all about making work for Public Relations and Corporate Communications teams effective and efficient. That’s why we have developed a software platform that helps global brands like Emirates, Mercedes-Benz, Achmea, Goodyear, Booking, and many more, better manage their corporate communication workflows and share their (brand) stories with the world and now we're looking for a Head of Operations who wants to build the foundation of our operational DNA. 


We have an open mindset and challenge ourselves to constantly change for the better. We are in the transition from startup to scale-up and together we are putting more structure and processes in place to get to the next level. We're currently at around 35 employees split between Amsterdam and Chicago, and growing.

What will you be doing?

You will be fully responsible for implementing and optimizing all operational related activities and will advise and challenge your peers where needed. You will optimize processes in a dynamic, international work environment. You love working in a diverse, fast-paced, constantly-changing, entrepreneurial environment, and aren't afraid to challenge others, take ownership of challenges, and roll up your sleeves to help get things off the ground.

You will:

  • Design and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures;

  • Create and continuously optimize an automated workflow surrounding our operational processes and Tech-Stack, including quote to cash and HR;

  • Introduce a company-wide Agile way of working, ensuring optimal use of our resources through continuous feedback and improvements;

  • Lead and implement highly effective steering cadans, translating long term goals into short term actions;

  • Develop and enhance Business Intelligence through data analytics, providing all teams with up-to-date insights allowing them to make the most impactful decisions.

  • Participate in expansion activities in our key markets: Benelux, DACH, UK, and US (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.).

Job requirements

  • You've got at least 5 years experience working in an operational role, at a high-pace company;

  • You have a strong sense of self, build trust quickly, and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo with managers;

  • You understand organizational dynamics, know what healthy, motivated, growing teams look like, and can give guidance on what to do to make this even better;

  • You're hands-on, but know how to collaborate and reprioritize, constantly looking for how things can be done more simply or automated;

  • You're excited to try new approaches and do things differently, and aren't afraid to "build as you go";

  • You love to work with data to optimize performance;

  • You communicate with influence, in professional business English.
