At PressPage, we’re all about making the work for Public Relations and Corporate Communications teams effective and efficient. That’s why we have developed a software platform that helps global brands like Emirates, Mercedes-Benz, Achmea, Goodyear, Booking, and many more, better manage their corporate communication workflows and share their (brand) stories with the world. As a fast growing company we are looking for a HR Manager who wants to build the foundation of our HR department. 


We have an open mindset and challenge ourselves to constantly change for the better. We are in the transition from startup to scale-up and together we are putting more structure and processes in place to get to the next level. We're currently at around 25 employees split between Amsterdam and Chicago, and growing.

What will you be doing?
You will be fully responsible for all our HR related activities and will advise and challenge management on HR related matters. You will coach our employees, help them thrive and get the best from themselves, in a dynamic international work environment. You love working in a diverse, fast-paced, constantly-changing, entrepreneurial environment, and aren't afraid to challenge others, take ownership of challenges, and roll up your sleeves to help get things off the ground. You will:  

  • Develop and implement a strong Employee Value Proposition, creating a truly diverse workplace;
  • Lead and implement strategic HR projects, including talent development, performance management and compensation plans;
  • Optimizing the onboarding, monitoring and offboarding of employees stationed across Europe;
  • Develop, enhance and launch initiatives that meet the needs of our teams and help us retain and grow the best people;
  • Coach managers and their teams to create an inclusive, diverse and highest performing environment;
  • Create a highly effective and automated workflow surrounding the HR administration.

Job requirements

  • You've got at least 5 years' experience working in a people role, at a high-pace company;
  • You have a strong sense of self, build trust quickly, and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo with managers;
  • You understand organisational dynamics, know what healthy, motivated, growing teams look like, and can give guidance on what to do to make this even better;
  • You're hands-on, but know how to collaborate and reprioritize, constantly looking for how things can be done more simply or automated;
  • You're excited to try new approaches and do things differently, and aren't afraid to "build as you go"; 
  • You communicate with influence, in professional business English. Proficiency in German would be advantageous.
