At Presspage, we’re all about making work for Public Relations and Corporate Communications teams effective and efficient. That’s why we have developed a software platform that helps global brands like Emirates, Mercedes-Benz, Achmea, Goodyear, Booking, and many more, better manage their corporate communication workflows and share their (brand) stories with the world. 

We are looking for an Office and Operations Manager who wants to be the internal hero of our organization. You will be fully responsible for running and organizing our office with the goal of making it an awesome place to work. You will work closely with all different departments to ensure that operations are running smoothly, and are always on top of the organizational needs of our team.

We have an open mindset and challenge ourselves to constantly change for the better. We are in the transition from startup to scale-up and together we are putting more structure and processes in place to get to the next level. We're currently at around 50 employees split between Amsterdam, Chicago, and remote and we are growing.

What will you be doing?

We need you to take ownership of making Presspage a competitive workplace to attract and retain talent by thinking outside the box.
You will: 

  • Partner with HR to support employees’ administration (contracts, benefits, contact with payroll administration, immigration follow-up);

  • Organize our offices (Amsterdam, Chicago, and remote), operations, and procedures, including taxes, chamber of commerce, and other administrative requirements;

  • Manage relationships with office vendors, service providers, and landlords;

  • Partner with Finance to manage company vendors’ contracts and assets and assist in our invoicing process;

  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events, and help let our culture thrive;

  • Support new employees in their extended onboarding and help them feel comfortable and welcome at Presspage so they can thrive in their roles.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in office management or administrative role;

  • Great communication, relationship building, and collaboration skills;

  • Have experience in building processes, running the administration, and creating and enforcing policies;

  • A desire to improve the process and adapt to the always-changing world of work;

  • Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable in a highly ambiguous environment, able to take responsibility from day one, and able to quickly adapt to an ever-changing environment.
